The capital increase, which was completed and oversubscribed in June 2018, entails an investment volume of CHF 1.1 million for the technology company Zippsafe AG, founded in 2015. The inventors of the novel and world's most popular space-saving solution for employee cloakrooms have successfully completed the second round of financing within two years.
Carlo Loderer, CEO of Zippsafe AG, announces that along with existing investors, a new anchor investor has been won for the recent capital increase and is convinced:
«With the Zippsafe solution, we have hit the nerve of the times. Compact construction is becoming more and more important, we save up to 70 percent of space thanks to new flexible materials. In addition to the high level of user-friendliness for employees, companies benefit from optimized processes thanks to a digitized, interconnected system. This allows our customers to save costs in an area that has been almost completely excluded from innovation until now.»
Meanwhile, Zippsafe has advanced to becoming specialists for customer-specific solutions in the field of employee cloakrooms, especially where space is in short supply, thanks to an optimized product portfolio. Among others, well-known companies such as Swiss International Airlines and the cantonal hospitals Winterthur and Baden were acquired as customers.
Next year, the focus will be on international expansion. In order to be able to meet the increased demand as well as customer-specific requirements in the future flexibly, simply and quickly, a separate location for production is currently being set up. The successful cooperation with companies such as dormakaba, Salto, Helbling and BU RRI public elements allows for short development cycles, taking into account the latest technologies and the highest quality standards.
