Just as Zippsafe revolutionized the garment storage solutions market, Hilcona achieved the same in the food sector. In 1984, Hilcona became the first company in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to produce fresh pasta on an industrial scale, opening up a completely new market. Almost 40 years later, the production of unique fresh products, including a wide range of pasta and vegetarian meals, is part of Hilcona's core business. The Hilcona mission is clear: Fresh food for enjoyment for every day.
More space and time
The company's enormous growth caused a new locker room issue. There was a shortage of lockers in the women’s locker room in the logistics department, leading to an urgent need to create more capacity. Because Zippsafe could offer three times more changing places in the same space, it was the optimal solution. The lack of space was resolved thanks to Zippsafe. As a result, there are now two ZippSpace systems in the women's locker room of the logistics department, providing 30 new changing places. Hilcona is delighted with the use of Zippsafe. They not only benefit from an increase in capacity, they are able to save time thanks to the minimization of administrative work for locker management. And to top it off, the locker rooms shine in a new splendor.

Hygienic employee locker rooms
Before Zippsafe, we used classic lockers with viewing windows. Our new lockers now have separate internal compartments. But the side pockets are not the only hygiene feature of the systems. The fabric inside has an antimicrobial and water-repellent coating, so excess water beads up while 99% of viruses and bacteria are eliminated. In addition, a ventilation and drying system is built into each unit. On rainy days, the drying mode can be activated to dry damp clothes in the compartments. Unpleasant odors are eliminated and the air quality in the room is improved.
Once again, the installation of the locker systems proved to be a challenge. Due to tight space conditions, the integrated shoe compartments could only be installed on site. Thanks to precise planning and a lot of experience with narrow corridors, we were well-prepared and had numerous suitable solutions in our repertoire for Hilcona. So far, our systems have been successfully installed found their way into every changing room.
