Verkehrshaus creates an exciting world of experience for its visitors around the past, present, and future of mobility. Typically, it belongs on the list of excursion destinations of every Swiss school class. It is therefore hardly surprising that it has the highest number of visitors of all Swiss museums. Almost half a million people find their way to Central Switzerland every year and enjoy the varied and unique experience. 

The museum looks back on a history of more than 60 years. On July 1, 1959, the rail hall was opened as part of the original museum facility. In the first stage of the expansion, a planetarium, office building, and aerospace hall were added. Later, the Hans Erni Museum, other halls, and a movie theater followed. Now, another important development step is happening.

With the construction of the new multipurpose building, the old rail hall from the fifties will be replaced. This replacement building was necessary because the original building no longer met today's requirements. As an innovative locker system, our solution fits perfectly into the current modernization concept of Verkehrshaus. The museum became aware of Zippsafe because its head of development and market attended one of our customer events and was immediately enthusiastic about the solution. The original plan to purchase normal lockers was thus discarded, and six ZippSpace Regular L systems were purchased instead. This generated 90 changing places, requiring significantly less space. The solution is used by the Verkehrshaus staff. 

Accordingly, the staff not only benefits from the modern workplace. The positive experience extends into the changing rooms.
