The Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, one of the largest and leading shows dedicated to healthcare design and facilities, took place a few weeks ago in Charlotte. As we are currently conquering the US market, there was no doubt we had to participate and present our smart soft lockers to architects and space planners. And true to our Zippsafe winner mentality, we applied for (and luckily also won) an award…
Last year at the Healthcare Design Conference, we learned how winning an award can boost brand awareness and traction during a trade show. To replicate the same experience in Charlotte, it was a no-brainer to register for the Symposium Distinction Awards, which took place during the trade show.
This annual program recognizes design teams, projects, and individuals who have made a profound contribution to the healthcare design industry. The judges, who have profound experience in the Design & Planning sector of healthcare institutions, award the best and most innovative new products within the healthcare design & construction industry.
To our delight, Zippsafe was selected in one of the three categories as the “Most Sustainable Product”. We are extremely grateful and thankful for this appreciation. However, we weren’t the only ones who got excited. The award has made big waves, and we almost got overrun at our booth. Our assumption has therefore proven to be correct.
The visitors in Charlotte showed astonishment and curiosity for the innovative product while experiencing our smart lockers in real life. The concept of a space-saving locker solution that enables smaller locker rooms, but at the same time improves employer happiness, a cleaner environment, and higher sustainability, was completely new to them. Overwhelmed by the positive feedback and the enormous traction, our team was extremely satisfied with the outcome of the trade show.
For Vanessa Rothlin, our Head of Marketing & Business Development, as well as Jonathan Grahm, our CCO, the long trip from our headquarters in Zurich to Charlotte was definitely worth it. Bob Graves was happy to relive last year’s success in San Antonio and even met a few familiar faces. Chris Grimes, our new Head of Business Development in the US, attended the first trade show with Zippsafe and went home with a lot of new contacts and potential leads. We cannot wait to see which of these healthcare institutions will be the first ones to profit from our smart locker solution in the US.
